My CV(pdf)

(I am no longer Chair of the Philosophy Department.   I’ve been succeed by Helen Longino)

My work lies at the intersection of the philosophy of language and the philosophy of mind, with an occasional foray into the history of philosophy.

I’m currently trying to finish a long overdue smallish book called Referring to the World and getting started on a massive tome called Toward a Natural History of Normativity.
