I am currently in the Silicon Valley, enjoying the sun. I started two companies, and am spending most of my time as a co-founder of Auctionomics. We provide auction and exchange software, and my fun co-founders are Steve Goldband and Paul Milgrom.

Paul is a Stanford Professor and he was the main architect of the original US spectrum auction design. Pauls role in this design has been celebrated in accounts by the National Science Foundation and by the U.S. National Academy of Sciences.

Pauls auction design has been copied and adapted worldwide for auctions of radio spectrum, electricity, natural gas, etc. involving hundreds of billion dollars. He has consulted individually or as head of a team for regulators in the US, UK, Canada, Australia, Germany, and Mexico on improvements to their auction designs.

During my academic years I was working on game theory and lobbying and had been invited as a speaker at major US universities such as Harvard, Caltech and Berkeley,

as well as universities in Turkey, China, the United Arab Emirates, Pakistan, Italy, Mexico and Spain. Before Auctionomics, I was a Visiting Professor at Boccioni University.

Hobbies? I love traveling to underdeveloped countries, learning languages and reading, playing beach volley, water polo,  skiing and running, and organizing events (Italian networking events, start up networking event, social events, sports events)

PhD Dissertation committee from left to right: my friend Samantha, just holding the ski,  David Baron, Matthew Jackson, Douglas Bernheim, me, Keith Krehbiel, Kenneth Shotts.
