Help the Haas Center put books in the hands of young people of all ages.
Join your fellow alumni in a Reunion Homecoming tradition: give new and gently used books for preschoolers through high school seniors in local underresourced schools.
All books will be used by children in Haas Center programs, including Jumpstart (preschool), Ravenswood Reads (elementary), East Palo Alto Stanford Academy (middle school), Stanford College Preparatory Program (high school), and Science in Service (middle and high school). These programs pair Stanford undergraduates with youth in the Ravenswood City School District where tutor-mentors work to promote literacy development, academic success, and college readiness.

The Symposium of Undergraduate Research and Public Service (SURPS) showcases more than 100 posters describing student projects in research, the arts, and public service. Chat with students about their efforts to solve complex problems.
Sunday, October 24 from 8:30 to 11:00 am (program begins at 9:30) in the Haas Center Donald Kennedy Conference Room
